2、 Product features
Grade 2 and Grade 5 titanium plates are widely used.
● Grade 2 is commercial pure titanium used by most chemical processing plants, which can be cold formed. Grade 2 plates and sheets can have ultimate tensile strength at 40000 psi and above.
● Grade 5 is aviation grade and cannot be cold formed, so it is used more when forming is not required. Grade 5 aviation alloy will have ultimate tensile strength of 120000 psi and above.
Plates are often used to achieve a goal that is truly close to the final size of the part being manufactured. The material is processed to the size closest to the required part, and the grain structure of the finished product is more uniform. Titanium plates are often used as thermal barriers because titanium blocks heat and does not transfer it to the rest of the component. Titanium plates and titanium plates have ballistic characteristics and are very suitable for protecting drivers in racing cars.
The titanium oxide film on the plate surface is equivalent to a good durable separating agent. The use of titanium plate can save the separating agent, make the plate easy to peel, and eliminate the pre processing process of titanium plate. Titanium plate is lighter than copper plate.
